On Aug. 17, the fields at Addison Trail and Willowbrook were filled with Blazer and Warrior Pride, as about 2,500 District 88 students, parents/guardians and community members came together to celebrate the beginning of the 2018-19 school year with the 3rd annual Blue and White/Silver and Blue Community Nights. The events featured a showcase of the schools’ athletic teams and extracurricular activities.

During the evening, Addison Trail had a soccer scrimmage and a football scrimmage; performances by the Marching Band, Color Guard, Orchesis Team, Cheerleading Team and Blazettes; and introductions of the fall sports teams.

Willowbrook had a soccer scrimmage and a football scrimmage; performances by the Marching Band, Color Guard, Cheerleading Team and Poms Team; and introductions of the fall sports teams. The Villa Park Youth Warrior Football and Cheerleading teams also were announced to the crowd.
