District 88 Board of Education members recognized during Addison Community Inauguration Ceremony

On April 27, the District 88 Board of Education members who were elected during the April 4 election were recognized as part of the Village of Addison’s Community Inauguration Ceremony.

During the event, Board members Donna Craft Cain (who has served on the Board since 2004), Thomas Edmier (who has served on the Board since 2009), Jay Irvin (who has served on the Board since 2005) and Blanca Jessen (who was appointed to the Board in 2015 to fill an open term) were recognized, along with elected officials from each taxing body in Addison. They will be officially sworn into office during the May 1 District 88 Board of Education meeting and will join Board members Timothy Gillen, Sharon Kucik and Lisa Lullo.
