District 88 shares important update regarding student Progress Reports

At District 88, we are committed to helping parents/guardians be engaged in their student’s education and keeping them up to date about their student’s academic progress.

As part of that initiative, the District 88 Technology Department would like to share an important update that will assist parents/guardians in being more involved in their child’s high school experience.

In the past, paper copies of Progress Reports were mailed home several times a year. However, the grades reflected on those reports were often outdated by the time they were received. In an effort to ensure parents/guardians have access to more accurate information, the district will no longer mail Progress Reports. Parents/guardians can view and monitor their student’s current, up-to-date grades by logging into PowerSchool or Nucleus at any time. If you need assistance logging into PowerSchool or Nucleus, contact Addison Trail at 630-628-3300 or Willowbrook at 630-530-3400.

Addison Trail and Willowbrook also will send an automated call and an e-mail to parents as a reminder to check that information. We will use the emergency phone number and the e-mail address provided in PowerSchool, so we encourage parents/guardians to review the accuracy of that information and to make any necessary updates as soon as possible. If you need assistance, contact the schools at the phone numbers listed above.

While Progress Reports will no longer be mailed, we will continue to send paper copies of Semester Report Cards home at the end of each semester.

If you have any questions about this process, feel free to contact me at alenaghan@dupage88.net or 630-782-3133. We look forward to continuing to work with you to ensure your student’s success, and thank you for your support of District 88.
