Addison Trail alumna wins wrestling Women's U.S. Open Championship

On April 18, Addison Trail alumna Veronica Carlson (Class of 2009) won the wrestling 67-KG Women's U.S. Open Championship in the senior division in Las Vegas.

“I feel like it has been a long time in the coming – a lot of hard work (has been) put into this, and it feels good to finally put it away,” Carlson said in the interview. “I am right where I need to be right now, and I see myself heading into a really streamlined, good future.”
