District 88 Board of Education adopts 2014-15 school calendar

During its Jan. 27 meeting, the District 88 Board of Education adopted the 2014-15 school year calendar.

Highlights of the calendar include:

• First day of classes: Aug. 20, 2014
• Last day of classes: June 4, 2015 (provided no emergency days are used)
• Graduation: June 7, 2015

Breaks:

• Thanksgiving break: Nov. 24 - 28, 2014
• Winter break: Dec. 22, 2014, to Jan. 2, 2015
• Spring break: March 30 to April 3, 2015

Exams:

• First-semester exams: Jan. 13 - 15, 2015
• Second-semester exams: June 2 - 4, 2015
