Illinois implements Firearm Concealed Carry Act

In accordance with the new Firearm Concealed Carry Act, District 88, along with other government buildings, public parks, public playgrounds and public libraries, has signs at both schools (Addison Trail and Willowbrook) and the District 88 Office prohibiting visitors from carrying concealed guns onto school property.

Under the act, the sign must have a white background and encircled in red a handgun in black with a diagonal slash across it. The signage must be 4 inches in diameter, and the entire sign must measure 4 inches by 6 inches in size.
