District 88 students invited to attend DuPage County Trade Apprenticeship Expo

Addison Trail and Willowbrook students are invited to attend the DuPage County Trade Apprenticeship Expo, which will feature interactive, hands-on demonstrations by the county’s building trade organizations, as well as opportunities to meet with instructors to learn more about each trade apprenticeship program.

When: Oct. 15, 2026 (participants will attend one of the sessions below)

• First session: 3:30 to 4:45 p.m.
  
  
• Second session: 5:15 to 6:30 p.m.

Where: The expo will take place at IBEW Local Union 701 (28600 Bella Vista Parkway in Warrenville), home to PowerForward DuPage, and is sponsored by the DuPage County Building & Construction Trades Council and CISCO. 

Participating trades might include:

• Bricklayers and tuckpointers
• Cement masons and plasterers
• Ceramic tile layers and finishers
• Electricians
• Heat and frost insulators
• Ironworkers
• Laborers
• Operating engineers
• Painters
• Pipefitters
• Plumbers
• Sheet Metal Workers
• Sprinkler Fitters
