District 88 Transition Program students participate in annual Transition Formal

On May 7, about 150 students from local transition programs – including from the District 88 Transition Program – came together for a night of music, dancing, celebration and laughter during the annual Transition Formal at Abbington Distinctive Banquets in Glen Ellyn.

That event takes place to provide students with an opportunity to socialize, build friendships, create lasting memories and reflect on the school year and their achievements.

The District 88 Transition Program helps individuals ages 18 to 21 who have a variety of abilities learn life skills, obtain job training in a community setting and transition to life after District 88. For more information, go to www.dupage88.net/District88TransitionProgram.
