District 88 Board of Education Vice President participates in IASB Advocacy Day

On March 24, District 88 Board of Education Vice President Dan Olson participated in the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) Advocacy Day in Springfield.

This annual event is an opportunity to bring school board members together to advocate for public education, connect directly with legislators and share their district’s story.

The day included hearing from members of the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives. Participants also had an opportunity to meet with legislators who serve their respective school district.
