During its March 23 meeting, the District 88 Board of Education, along with the administration, named Anyway’s as a Business Partner. The Business Partner program recognizes companies, organizations and individuals for their support in building futures for District 88 students and helping to accomplish the district’s mission and vision.

Anyway’s is a prime example of a company working with the district to achieve its goals, and the board and administration recognized Anyway’s General Manager Hector Ramirez for the incredible support the restaurant offers District 88 and Willowbrook.

Anyway’s and Ramirez are always willing to get involved, and they go above and beyond for District 88 students, families and events. Whenever asked to provide a donation for district or community fundraisers, they can always be counted on to generously say yes.

For many years, Anyway’s also has provided $25 gift certificates for District 88’s Best recipients. That award recognizes nine Addison Trail and nine Willowbrook students each school year for reaching their personal best in academics, highly improved performance, extracurricular activities, service work or performing arts/electives.

Most recently, Willowbrook Assistant Principal for Athletics and Operations Ed Sullivan asked Ramirez to sponsor the school’s Athlete of the Month program to honor students for their accomplishments in athletics and beyond. Ramirez happily agreed, and recipients are presented with a plaque and a $25 gift certificate to Anyway’s.

As you can see, Anyway’s and Ramirez are tremendous Business Partners, and District 88 is proud to honor their efforts and collaboration.
