District 88 would like to announce a vacancy on its Board of Education.
Due to a Board member resignation, a seat on the District 88 Board of Education is open through the next election in April 2027. To apply for the position, complete the application at www.dupage88.net/BoardVacancy2026 by Feb. 13, 2026. Selected candidates will be interviewed by the Board of Education on Feb. 17, 2026.

District 88 thanks Gail Galivan (pictured above) for her years of service to the Board of Education. Galivan has been a Board member since April 2023 and has served on the following committees: Behavioral Interventions, Citizens Advisory Councils, Addison Intergovernmental, Villa Park/Lombard/Oakbrook Terrace Intergovernmental, Buildings and Grounds, District 88 Art Scholarship, District 88 Foundation, Wellness Committee, Employee Recognition and Curriculum Council.
