On Oct. 23, District 88, District 45 and Salt Creek School District 48 hosted their annual Learning Compact Joint Board Meeting.
That event is an opportunity for Board of Education members from the districts to come together and discuss important information taking place in each district, as well as issues facing public education.
This year’s topic was “AI in the classroom: What the research says, why it matters, and how to use it wisely.” During the presentation, Addison Trail Assistant Principal Mike Warren shared information and data about the positive impacts and areas of caution with artificial intelligence (AI) with regard to the academic and social-emotional development of students.
