During the Sept. 22 District 88 Board of Education meeting, members of Addison Trail’s Interact Club shared information about the group and its upcoming fundraiser. To view the presentation, click on the video above.
Interact Club advisers Rebecca Vogt and Claire Sychta, along with Addison Trail students Nancy Herrera (junior), Kayla Leyva (sophomore) and Tomek Kucharzak (junior), discussed how the group is a student service organization that’s sponsored by the local Rotary Club. Members host and participate in events to benefit the school, community and global efforts, and proceeds support scholarships for Addison Trail students.
The club’s annual Kermes (Latino food and culture festival) will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 4 at Addison Trail, and all students, parents/guardians, alumni, staff, community members and friends are invited to attend. For details about Kermes, go to www.dupage88.net/Kermes2025.
