District 88 hosts summer school for students

District 88 is committed to providing opportunities to help students succeed and build positive futures.

As part of that focus, the district offers summer school courses to help students earn credit to stay on track for graduation, as well as provide an opportunity for students to get ahead with graduation requirements. This year, classes took place from June 2 to 29.

  • Courses offered at Addison Trail were Public Speaking and Communication, and Online Consumer Management.

  • Courses offered at Willowbrook were Public Speaking and Communication, Online Consumer Management, Online Health, and Driver Education (classroom course).

At Addison Trail, 80 students attended summer school and earned a total of 84 credits. At Willowbrook, 260 students attended and earned 203 credits.

District 88 is proud to provide an experience for students to not only receive extra time and practice to recover credits, but also to allow them to expedite their earning of specific credits and advance their learning.
