District 88 Board of Education President named 2025 ISBA Matthew Maloney Tradition of Excellence Award recipient

District 88 is proud to share that Board of Education President Donna Craft Cain (pictured at right) has been named as the recipient of the 2025 Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) Matthew Maloney Tradition of Excellence Award.

That award is named in memory of Princeton attorney Matthew Maloney (who was a past chair of the ISBA General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Section Council) and is presented to individual lawyers who are in a general, solo or small firm practice. Honorees exemplify Maloney’s passion, zealous advocacy and personal service to the profession and to the bar of Illinois.

Craft Cain has served on the District 88 Board of Education since 2004 and has been Board President since 2011. She also is an alumna of Willowbrook (class of 1981), is the parent of three District 88 graduates and is a longtime resident and business owner in the District 88 community. Craft Cain will be recognized during the ISBA Member Appreciation and Recognition Reception on May 15 at The Morton Arboretum in Lisle.
