District 88 to host Learning Services Parent Meeting

On May 6, District 88 will host a Learning Services meeting for parents/guardians of Addison Trail and Willowbrook students who have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

What: 

• Participants will attend an informative session with representatives from the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS), who will share valuable information about employment services the division offers for students with IEPs/504s – while they are in high school and after graduation.
  
  
• Participants will attend an informative session with Edward Kogan from Symbol Training Institute, who will present about exciting opportunities in the field of manufacturing for high school students and recent graduates.
  
  
• An interpreter will be present to share the information in Spanish.

When: 7 p.m. on May 6, 2025

Where: District 88 Office (where the District 88 Transition Program is located), 2 Friendship Plaza in Addison
