College of DuPage to host STEMCON

On April 26, Addison Trail and Willowbrook students are invited to attend STEMCON, hosted by College of DuPage! See the event details below.

WHAT:

• Participants will have an opportunity to engage with interactive, hands-on experiments, demonstrations and indoor/outdoor exhibits designed to inform, entertain and spark interest in a broad range of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) topics.
  
  
• Special guest Kate Biberdorf (“Kate the Chemist”) will provide interactive demonstrations, followed by a book signing.
  
  
• The Technology Education Center (TEC) will host an Open House.
  
  
• Four “introduction to video gaming" workshops will take place.
  
  
• Self-guided tours will be available in the Ecological Study Area (ESA), one of the campus Natural Areas at College of DuPage.
  
  
• On-demand virtual activities from previous STEMCON events can be accessed online.

WHEN: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 26, 2025

WHERE: College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn (in the Physical Education Center)
