From Feb. 24 to 28, District 88 will celebrate Public Schools Week (PSW25), an annual event dedicated to honoring the invaluable contributions and achievements of educators and education advocates in public schools and the communities they serve.
This year’s theme, Community Engagement, highlights how schools and their communities work together to advance student achievement and success.
Led by the Learning First Alliance (LFA), a coalition of 12 national education groups with a collective membership exceeding 10 million, Public Schools Week invites the education community, parents/guardians, lawmakers and others to join in spotlighting public schools throughout the U.S. and the dedicated individuals behind them.
