District 88 to host Learning Services Parent Meeting

On Jan. 28, District 88 will host a Learning Services meeting for parents/guardians of students who have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). See the details below.

What: Participants will gain information regarding how to support your student’s journey toward college, employment and independent living. District 88 Transition Program Department Head Stephanie Nitka will provide information and resources to help families plan for a successful transition from high school to adulthood. Parents/guardians are invited to attend this meeting to explore opportunities and learn about next steps. A Spanish-speaking interpreter will be available to assist attendees.

When: 7 p.m. on Jan. 28, 2025

Where: Addison Trail, 213 N. Lombard Road in Addison

About the District 88 Transition Program: The District 88 Transition Program helps individuals ages 18 to 22 who have a variety of abilities learn life skills, obtain job training in a community setting and transition to life after District 88.
