On Dec. 16, District 88 hosted a district update meeting for parents/guardians and students. To watch the meeting, and to view the presentation in English and in Spanish, click on the video and the links above.

During the meeting, Addison Trail, Willowbrook and District 88 administrators, as well as District 88 Board of Education members, shared the following important information.

  • Dates when each student will meet individually with his/her counselor to select classes for the 2025-26 school year

  • Reminders about the various courses and curricular opportunities that are available for students

  • New courses added for the 2025-26 school year

  • Flexibilities within District 88’s graduation requirements

  • Recent changes to District 88’s graduation requirements

  • Save the date for Addison Trail’s Course Information Night and Athletic/Activity Fair and Willowbrook’s Curriculum Showcase and Meet the Coaches/Clubs Night on Jan. 16, 2025

  • Save the date for an Open House on Jan. 16, 2025, at Technology Center of DuPage (TCD), which offers DuPage County-area high school juniors and seniors 20 career and technical education (CTE) programs as part of their high school curriculum, as well as an opportunity to earn college credit while in high school

  • Information about District 88’s ACT Preparation Course for juniors, including how to register

  • Academic supports available for students

  • Mental health and social-emotional supports available for students

  • Safety and security updates and reminders

  • Facility updates for 2024-25 and 2025-26

  • How to stay connected with District 88, including groups for parents/guardians and community members

  • Marketing materials with important/helpful information about the district and schools

Throughout the school year, District 88 hosts update meetings to communicate and connect with parents/guardians and students. This is an opportunity to meet with administrators and Board of Education members to discuss the school year and future plans, as well as a chance to participate in a question-and-answer session.   • Upcoming 2024-25 District 88 Update Meeting dates:

    • 6:30 p.m. on April 21, 2025

  • Families will receive an e-mail with details before each meeting, including the link to register.

  • An interpreter will be present during the meetings to share the information in Spanish.
