District 88 launches new ‘88 in 88’ video segment to keep stakeholders connected and informed: Newest episode focuses on academic resources/supports available to all District 88 students

District 88 is thrilled to introduce a new communication piece – a video segment called “88 in 88.” These videos feature about 88 seconds of news and highlights from District 88 to share important information to help keep stakeholders connected with and informed about the district.

The newest “88 in 88” episode focuses on the academic programs, initiatives, resources, supports and services that are available to all District 88 students. These include:

• Embedding a resource period within the school day
  
  
• Offering a tutoring program to aid students in specific content areas
  
  
• Having a center to offer guidance with writing assignments
  
  
• Adding the Academic Success Center, or ASC, at Addison Trail and the Warrior Resource Center, or WRC, at Willowbrook, which provide tutoring with certified content teachers in core subject areas, learning services teachers and literacy teachers
  
  
• Maintaining robust and active Library Media Centers
