District 88 Superintendent presents during Addison Public Library Italian Heritage Open House

On Oct. 27, District 88 Superintendent Dr. Jean Barbanente participated in the Addison Public Library’s Italian Heritage Open House.

Dr. Barbanente presented about Addison Trail’s Italian courses and the Village of Addison Sister Cities student-exchange program with Triggiano, Italy, where Addison Trail students have the opportunity to travel to Italy.

The event featured Italian music, crafts and coloring sheets for kids, a Mona Lisa photo booth, coffee and cookies, the library’s curated Italian media collections and information from local organizations, including:
