District 88 recognizes Mental Health Month

Reminder about mental health and social-emotional programs/services/resources/supports for District 88 students and staff

May is Mental Health Month, a time to promote awareness, provide vital resources and education, and advocate for the mental health and well-being of all. This year’s theme is “Where to Start: Mental Health in a Changing World.” For more information, go to https://www.mhanational.org/mental-health-month.

At District 88, the safety and well-being of students and staff is our No. 1 priority. We know building relationships precedes learning, and we continue to focus on connecting with all students. For students to achieve academically, we must first meet their needs outside of the classroom – including providing mental health and social-emotional assistance.

We offer a variety of programs, services and resources, including partnerships with outside agencies, to support the well-being of students and staff. For more information, go to https://www.dupage88.net/Supports.
