On May 16, 11 District 88 students were recognized and honored for completing the CNC Machining Fundamentals course, which is coordinated in partnership with Symbol Training Institute in Addison.
This course helps students gain exposure to the modern machine shop environment and principles of manufacturing. Students demonstrate attainment by achieving a passing score on the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Measurement, Materials & Safety credentialing exam. During the event, students were presented with a certificate, and they celebrated with administrators, staff members and their peers.
