District 88 Transition Program celebrates end of 2022-23 school year
The District 88 Transition Program recently hosted two events for students to celebrate the end of the 2022-23 school year.
That program helps individuals ages 18 to 21 who have a variety of abilities learn life skills, obtain job training at local vocational sites in a community setting and transition to a life of independence after District 88.
On May 31, students enjoyed food, music/karaoke and fun at the Village Green, which is on the east side of the Addison Village Hall property (see photos 1-4 below).
On June 2, students were greeted on their last day of school by District 88 Office staff members and administrators, who sent the students off for the summer with a “clap out" (see photos 5-8 below). To watch the celebration, click on the video above.
