District 88 continues to offer opportunities to ensure students are college and career ready

Discover the benefits of District 88’s Education Teacher Preparation course

At District 88, we are committed to making sure students are college and career ready. We continue to focus on teaching skills and offering learning experiences to achieve that goal through providing multiple and flexible pathways for students.

We partner with colleges/universities and local businesses to expand these opportunities, and we look forward to continuing to enhance these initiatives.

One opportunity is our Education Teacher Preparation course (FC55543DB), which is available to juniors and seniors at Addison Trail and Willowbrook. Through this class, students will get an inside look into the education system, have the ability to earn dual credit with College of DuPage (COD) and gain field experience by working directly with teachers and students in the classroom. Students interested in Education Teacher Preparation should speak with their counselor and request to register for course FC55543DB.

An information session about the Teacher Pathways at College of DuPage (COD) will take place starting at 5 p.m. on May 10 at COD. Learn more at https://dupage88.net/site/public/files/?item=6312 (or see the image below), and sign up at https://forms.gle/dBBSSvqBpEyXh6mV8.
