‘The State of District 88’ video segment highlights student successes and important updates

Throughout the school year, District 88 hosts a video segment titled “The State of District 88.” The show highlights student successes, as well as important information about the district.

The first segment of “The State of District 88” for the 2021-22 school year can be viewed above and shares the following information:

  • District 88 Superintendent Dr. Jean Barbanente discusses the district’s plans and COVID-19 mitigation strategies and procedures for the 2021-22 school year, as well as her vision for the future direction of the district.

  • Willowbrook Principal Dr. Daniel Krause shares how District 88 plans to enhance its connections and relationships with students and programs/services in place to support students as they return to in-person learning.

  • An interview to introduce Jack Andrews, Addison Trail’s new Principal (who also is an alumnus of Addison Trail), who discusses how District 88 will continue connecting with students to establish a sense of belonging and encourage each child to find success in all areas – academics, athletics and extracurricular activities.
