District 88 cafeteria staff members recently participated in FARECheck, an enhanced training and review program in food handling and safety practices to help keep food-allergic individuals safe and included.
Cafeteria workers took a class and a test, and District 88 is one of two school districts in northern Illinois that has gone through this training and certification program. For more information, go to https://www.foodallergy.org/our-initiatives/education-programs-training/farecheck.
