District 88 Board of Education approves 2021-22 school year calendar

During its March 8 meeting, the District 88 Board of Education approved the 2021-22 school year calendar.

Highlights of the calendar include:

• First day of classes: Aug. 18, 2021
• Graduation: May 22, 2022
• Last day of classes: May 27, 2022 (provided no emergency days are used)
  
  
• Parent-teacher conferences: Oct. 14, 2021
• Advanced Placement (AP)/college-level exams: May 2 to 13, 2022

Breaks:

• Thanksgiving break: Nov. 24 to 26, 2021
• Winter break: Dec. 20 to 31, 2021
• Spring break: March 28 to April 1, 2022
