Step 1 - Residency Verification and Documentation

Part A: Required Documents

For students new to District 88, there are multiple documents that the district must have on file.  New students must provide documentation to verify identity and age. The following items must be submitted for new students to District 88:

  • Birth Certificate - A birth certificate must be turned in to the student records office, or you may submit a copy to:
  • Driver's License or State ID: A copy of the front of a driver's license or state ID must be submitted for one of the parents listed on the student's birth certificate.  
  • Other official custody agreements or divorce decrees recognized by a court of law can be submitted, where applicable.  

Part B: Medical Records

Various medical records must be submitted prior to attending District 88. The following medical records for new students to the District should be submitted to your student's school before material pickup.

Part C: Residency Verification

All District 88 students undergo yearly residency verification. Your information will often be automatically validated, and no additional steps are required.
