Willowbrook High School
The 2010-2011 School Year is Almost Here!
Preparations are underway for the start of classes on Tuesday, September 7. We are excited as we prepare the building for the return of students and staff after a summer filled with construction and improvements.
REGISTRATION INFO
Registration Week has been underway at Willowbrook High School since Monday, August 23. The following information is provided as an explanation to some frequently asked questions:
- Student books may be purchased from outside vendors (i.e. Amazon, etc.). A list of books can be found here.
- Student fees that appear twice on a bookstore receipt represent fees for Semester I and Semester II.
- Some students may have bookstore credit balances from the 2009-2010 school year that will be applied to the fees owed for 2010-2011. If a credit is applied, the amount owed will be reduced.
- A Technology Fee of $25.00 is assessed to every student for the use of technology equipment, network and printing services. This amount represents an increase from the 2009-2010 technology fee of $10.00.
- An Activities/Athletics Fee of $25.00 is a new fee for 2010-2011 that is assessed to every student for the opportunity to participate in clubs, activities/athletics and school wide events. Funds may be used to pay for expenses related to transportation, supplies and all school assemblies and celebrations.
* Please note this fee is different than an “Activity Pass” which is a voluntary purchase for $10.00 that admits students to most school activities at a considerable savings over regular admission prices.
Families who have additional questions related to the purchase of textbooks and student fees should speak with a building administrator or the Bookstore Manager. Please contact Willowbrook at (630) 530-3400.
