Relay For Life of District 88 Youth raises more than $28,700 for American Cancer Society

Willowbrook and Addison Trail recently showed giving back is a cornerstone of District 88 pride.

From March 7 to 8, the 15^th annual Relay For Life of District 88 Youth took place at Willowbrook, and more than 250 students and community members attended.

The event raised more than $28,700 for the American Cancer Society. In total, this event has collected about $780,000 during the last 15 years. To view this year’s top fundraising teams and participants, go to www.dupage88.net/RelayForLife2026 (scroll to the middle of the page).

Participants enjoyed a variety of activities and games, and there also was a luminaria to honor more than 100 individuals who are fighting cancer or who have lost their battle with cancer. The relay began by celebrating six cancer survivors, as they walked the first lap around the track.
