About 35 Addison Trail students who are enrolled in Italian 4H and Advanced Placement (AP)/college-level Italian Language and Culture recently visited seventh-graders and eighth-graders at Indian Trail Junior High School.

The high-schoolers traveled with Addison Trail world language teachers Enza Spilotro and Laura Calo. They collaborated with Indian Trail Italian teacher Lauren Barone’s classes and led interactive language activities. The purpose and goal was to help the younger students review Italian grammar and vocabulary concepts and bridge the Italian programs between the schools.
