As previously shared, District 88 is in the process of updating its Strategic Plan to retool and enhance the district’s existing 2010 plan and to ensure the focus remains on accomplishing the district’s mission of working for the continuous improvement of student achievement. From September to November, administrators and facilitator Jeff Cohn with Brave Dialogue met with more than 700 stakeholders – including staff members, parents/guardians, community members and students – to gather their feedback and thoughts.
During the Feb. 11 District 88 Board of Education meeting, Cohn gave a first reading of the updated Strategic Plan. The Board will hear a second reading and vote on the plan during its Feb. 25 meeting.
