District 88 receives award for work with data project to enhance student learning

District 88 Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Dr. Adam Cibulka shares the district was recently selected as a winner of one of Forecast5’s Projects of the Year for 2018. During the Oct. 29 District 88 Board of Education meeting, Cibulka discussed how this award was received as a result of the work done by the district in using the 5Lab product and its data sets to monitor student performance and provide support.

During the Oct. 29 District 88 Board of Education meeting, the Board and administration thanked District 88 Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Dr. Adam Cibulka for his leadership in working with Forecast5 Analytics to enhance the district’s data sets to improve the educational learning environment for students at Addison Trail and Willowbrook.

District 88 was selected as a winner of one of Forecast5’s Projects of the Year for 2018, and the award was recognized on Oct. 12 during Forecast5’s National Conference. The award was presented to District 88 as a result of the work done by the district in using the 5Lab product and its data sets to monitor student performance and provide support. Forecast5 also donated $750, which will go to the District 88 Foundation to benefit students at Addison Trail and Willowbrook.
