Village of Addison Sister Cities Golf Adventure to benefit Addison Trail students

District 88 and Addison Trail students and staff, as well as representatives from the Village of Addison Sister Cities (including Village of Addison Mayor Rich Veenstra, top right), participate in a previous Village of Addison Sister Cities Golf Adventure. This year's event will take place on Aug. 29 at Links & Tees Golf Facility in Addison.

On Aug. 29, the Village of Addison Sister Cities will host a Golf Adventure at Links & Tees Golf Facility in Addison.

The event is a fundraiser for the village’s Sister Cities program with Triggiano, Italy. Through that student-exchange program, Addison hosts students from Triggiano, and Addison Trail students travel to Italy. Proceeds from the golf outing will go toward scholarships for students who want to participate in the Sister Cities program. The Village of Addison Sister Cities Committee continues to raise funds on behalf of Addison Trail students to provide scholarships for them to travel to Italy.
