The PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) core team composed of staff, students, and administration is proud to show their BLAZER PRIDE!

The following framework provides students with the expectations to help create a positive learning environment and to be successful:

Respectful

Your goal is to show respect to yourself, your classmates, staff, and all other visitors to Addison Trail!

• Show your Blazer Pride in positive and respectful ways!

Responsible

Your goal is to be responsible and to take pride and leadership in your work:

• Attendance & timeliness is needed to master the needed skills necessary for class.
• Make sure everyday you bring items that will allow you to be successful!

Safe

• The classroom needs to be a place where we will all feel safe to express our ideas.

Emergency Drills

• Secure! is followed by the Directive: "Get Inside. Lock Outside Doors." and is the protocol used to safeguard people within the building.
• Hold! is followed by the directive: "In Your Room or Area.  Clear the Halls." and is the protocol used when hallways need to be kept clear of occupants.
• Evacuate! and may be followed by a location, and is used to move people from one location to a different location in or out of the building.
• Shelter! State the Hazard and Safety Strategy for group and self protection.
• Run, Hide, Fight! (Blue Point)-Run/Escape if possible, Hide and/or barricade if escape is not possible, Fight as a last resort

Caught You Showing Blazer Pride

All faculty will be looking for students showing Blazer Pride. At certain times when staff members see it demonstrated, students may earn a Blazer Pride treat and personalized message from staff!
