Addison Trail hosts send-off celebration for four students who will participate in International Thespian Festival

On May 22, Addison Trail hosted a send-off celebration for four students who will perform during the International Thespian Festival (ITF), which will take place from June 25 to 30 at University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

This past January, seven Addison Trail students were selected to participate in the 2018 Illinois High School Theatre Festival (IHSTF) All-State production of “Big Fish,” and that show earned the honor of being accepted into the ITF. This is the first time an Illinois All-State production has been selected for this event.

Addison Trail Theatre Director Anna Louise Jakubka was named as one of two producers for “Big Fish,” and Addison Trail Theatre Tech Assistant Alex Holod (who graduated from Addison Trail in 2009) was selected as Props Designer.
