Showcase Villa Park “Celebrate 8 and 28”

Everyone is invited as Villa Park celebrates why the village was named by Money Magazine as the 8th Best Place in America to Raise a Family and the 28th Best Place in America to Live! Entertainment will include: Student music performances by school districts 45, 48, 88, the Islamic Foundation School and the Mayer Irish Dancers; a Student Art Contest; crafts; and a photo booth for the kids (and the kids at heart)! The event also will feature the best of Villa Park's food vendors, with desserts from local churches (while supplies last), and a special performance by Mick Archer's Dueling Pianos. When: 5 to 9 p.m. on April 28

Where: Odeum Expo Center, 1033 N. Villa Ave. in Villa Park

Cost: $8 a person, or family rate of $28/4; children younger than 3 years old are free
