Willowbrook inducts Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2018

On Feb. 8, Willowbrook inducted members into its Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2018 during a dinner at The Carlisle in Lombard.

During the event, Willowbrook Principal Dr. Daniel Krause, Willowbrook Athletic Director Bob Daly and Willowbrook Athletic Hall of Fame President Helen Connell greeted the crowd. Willowbrook Head Football Coach and Special Education Department Head Nick Hildreth (who also is an alumnus of Willowbrook, class of 2000) served as the keynote speaker. Hildreth thanked the award recipients for their contributions to and positive impact on the school and its students and staff. Former Willowbrook Head Wrestling Coach Bryan Murphy served as the emcee.

The 2018 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees are:

  • Ed Leppert (Class of 1962 – Wrestling and track)

  • Craig Martin (Class of 1977 – Track and cross-country)

  • Jennifer Jorgensen-Lackey (Class of 1986 – Track and cross-country)

  • Nadine Wille-Whitmore (Class of 1987 – Track and cross-country)

  • Margo Littlehale (1978-2009 – Coach of cross-country and track and field)

  • John Price (1982-present – Outstanding Contributor)

  • Pom Pon Team (2005-06 – State Champion)
