Invitation to attend the 2018 Willowbrook Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Banquet

Founded in 2010, the Athletic Hall of Fame celebrates the athletic and personal successes of standout Willowbrook student-athletes. A screening committee comprised of current and former coaches, staff members, Athletic Booster Club members and community representatives selects the Willowbrook Warriors who are inducted each year.

This year's Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Banquet will take place on Feb. 8 at The Carlisle, 435 E. Butterfield Road in Lombard. The evening will begin with a social gathering from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the presentation of the class of 2018 will start immediately after dinner. Class of 2018 inductees are:

• Ed Leppert (Class of 1962 – Wrestling and track)
• Rob Cortesi (Class of 1969 – Football, basketball and baseball)
• Craig Martin (Class of 1977 – Track and cross-country)
• Jennifer Jorgensen-Lackey (Class of 1986 – Track and cross-country)
• Nadine Wille-Whitmore (Class of 1987 – Track and cross-country)
• Margo Littlehale (1978-2009 – Coach of cross-country and track and field)
• John Price (1982-present – Outstanding Contributor)
• Pom Pon Team (2005-06 – State Champion)

Inductees also will be recognized before the Willowbrook Varsity Boys Basketball game on Feb. 9.
