As President of the Partnership for Inspired Education (PIE) Foundation and the District 88 Board of Education, I would like to invite you to join us for an evening of entertainment, dining and fun on March 11 at Drury Lane.

The event is our annual fundraiser, and proceeds will benefit students in DuPage County school districts 4, 45, 48 and 88. The evening will feature a performance of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” dinner and an auction with sports memorabilia, tickets to events, jewelry and other unique items. There also will be a “Win-Win” raffle with gift certificates and a “Big Raffle” with several items of high value. Below is more information about the fundraiser.

Three ways you can support the PIE Foundation fundraiser

  1. Donate to the silent auction: We’re looking for a variety of items to include in baskets at our silent auction, as well as gift certificates. If you have an item to donate, contact District 88 Director of Community Relations Dani Brink by Feb. 12. She can be reached at dbrink@dupage88.net or 630-530-3989.

  2. Attend the PIE Foundation fundraiser: Tickets are limited, so be sure to buy yours today at www.piefoundation.org. Tickets cost $95 each.

  3. Provide a monetary donation: To support the enrichment of students through the PIE Foundation, mail your tax-deductible contribution to:

PIE Foundation
P.O. Box 5438
Villa Park, IL 60181

Donations also may be made securely online at http://www.piefoundation.org/donations.html.

Matching gifts: Your gift might be multiplied with a matching gift from your/your spouse’s employer. See your Human Resources Department for the appropriate form, and return it with your contribution.

* NOTE: We want to make sure you’re aware this version of “Joseph” differs from the traditional show. I’ve personally seen the Drury Lane version and found it to be very artistic and entertaining, but I encourage you to come with an open mind. Drury Lane advises this interpretation includes mature/adult content and “absurd scenes that make sense in a dreamlike setting.”

About the PIE Foundation
The PIE Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that serves public school students in District 88, Addison School District 4, School District 45 and Salt Creek School District 48.
