District 88 recognizes October 2017 as National Principals Month

During its Oct. 30 meeting, the District 88 Board of Education recognized Addison Trail Principal Michael Bolden and Willowbrook Principal Dr. Daniel Krause in honor of National Principals Month. The villages of Addison, Lombard and Villa Park also recognized Bolden and Krause by posting messages on their marquees/local cable stations (pictured above).

During its Oct. 30 meeting, the District 88 Board of Education adopted a resolution recognizing October as National Principals Month and thanked Addison Trail Principal Michael Bolden and Willowbrook Principal Dr. Daniel Krause, along with their teams, for their leadership and vision. As administrators, they put in countless hours to continue to improve District 88 and build futures for students.

The National Association of Secondary School Principals, the National Association of Elementary School Principals and the American Federation of School Administrators recognize October as National Principals Month – a time to honor the hard work and dedication of America’s principals. This year’s celebration culminated with Principal Appreciation Week from Oct. 15 to 21 and Principal Appreciation Day on Oct. 20 in Illinois.

The villages of Addison, Lombard and Villa Park also recognized Bolden and Krause by posting messages on their marquees/local cable stations, and Addison, Lombard and the Illinois Principals Association also provided proclamations in honor of National Principals Month.
