District 88 Board President and physical education teacher earn ISBE Those Who Excel Awards

On Oct. 28, District 88 Board of Education President Donna Craft Cain and Addison Trail physical education teacher Sheri D’Ambrose were honored by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) as recipients of the Those Who Excel Award.

That program recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to Illinois public and nonpublic elementary and secondary schools. Craft Cain earned a Meritorious Service Award (the second-highest award level presented) in the School Board Member/Community Volunteer category, and D’Ambrose earned a Meritorious Service Award in the Classroom Teacher category.
