On Sept. 21 at Medinah Shriners in Addison, the DuPage Regional Office of Education (ROE) hosted its annual New Administrator Breakfast to welcome those who have assumed leadership positions this year at DuPage County schools and to share information about the ROE.

Willowbrook Principal Dr. Daniel Krause served as the event’s Keynote Speaker. Krause had those in attendance (which also consisted of current administrators) share why they chose to pursue educational leadership and the best advice they’ve received throughout their career. He then offered tips to those entering the field and reminded them to enjoy the privilege and responsibility of helping to guide teachers and shaping futures for students.

Newly appointed Willowbrook Assistant Principal Jamie Gourley was introduced and welcomed to the ROE. To read more about Gourley, go to https://www.dupage88.net/site/page/7254. Addison Trail Assistant Principal Courtney DeMent, who also serves as a Region Director for the Illinois Principals Association (IPA), discussed resources available through that organization.
