Addison Trail and Willowbrook host 2nd annual District 88 Foundation Community Nights

On Aug. 18, the fields at Addison Trail and Willowbrook were filled with Blazer and Warrior Pride, as more than 3,000 District 88 students, parents/guardians and community members came together to celebrate the beginning of the 2017-18 school year with the 2nd annual Blue and White/Silver and Blue Community Nights.

The events featured a showcase of the schools’ athletic teams and extracurricular activities. During the evening, Addison Trail had a soccer scrimmage and a football scrimmage; performances by the Marching Band, Color Guard, Orchesis Team, Cheerleading Team and Blazettes; and introductions of the fall sports teams.

Willowbrook had a soccer scrimmage and a football scrimmage; performances by the Marching Band, Color Guard, Cheerleading Team and Poms Team; and introductions of the fall sports teams. The Villa Park Youth Warrior Football and Cheerleading teams also were announced to the crowd.
