On May 17, the Willowbrook Athletic Booster Club hosted its annual Senior Athletic Banquet at Venuti’s Italian Restaurant & Banquet Hall in Addison.
During the event, highlights and successes of each athletic team were shared, and senior student-athletes were recognized for their accomplishments on the field and in the classroom.
Award winners and scholarship recipients also were named, and those students are:
- Athletic Booster Club Outstanding Male Athlete: Casey King
- Athletic Booster Club Outstanding Female Athlete: Valentina Poggi
- Helen Carpenter Most Valuable Female Athlete: Grace Chantos
- John A. Fischer Most Valuable Male Athlete: Jonathan Kelso
