Addison Trail Social Studies Department hosts annual Recognition Breakfast

On May 17, the Addison Trail Social Studies Department hosted its annual Recognition Breakfast to honor students for their accomplishments within the department.

Members of the Model United Nations Team (pictured top row, left), Psychology Club (pictured top row, right) and Youth in Government (pictured middle row, left) were honored, as were the students who traveled to Washington, D.C., this past January through Close Up - Washington, D.C., Educational Programs to visit historic sites and to watch the inauguration of U.S. President Donald Trump (pictured middle row, right).

The department also named the recipients of its three annual awards.

  • Daughters of the American Revolution award: Senior Jessica Bach (pictured bottom row, left)
  • Sons of the American Revolution award: Senior Jacob McAloon (pictured bottom row, middle)
  • Outstanding Senior in Social Studies: Senior Alexander Gunnerson (pictured bottom row, right)
