From March 2 to 6, 124 Addison Trail music students traveled to New Orleans with 13 parents/chaperones and five staff members from Band, Choir, Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble.

During the trip, students visited Mardi Gras World, where they learned about the history of Mardi Gras and saw floats used in the parades. They also went to The National WWII Museum, took a boat ride with Cajun Pride Swamp Tours, enjoyed a cooking demonstration of Cajun dishes, heard a private concert by the Preservation Hall Jazz Band at Preservation Hall, attended clinics at Tulane University and performed in Jackson Square and The Palm Court Jazz Café.
