Addison Trail Culinary Arts II students compete in Chili Cook-Off

Addison Trail students in Culinary Arts II compete in a Chili Cook-Off on Oct. 5.

On Oct. 5, 17 Addison Trail students in Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher Jennifer Kowalski’s Culinary Arts II class competed in a Chili Cook-Off.

Students had to research a recipe to make and were rated on presentation, flavor, texture, consistency, blend of spices, aroma and color. Entries were judged by CTE Department Chair Juliann Boudouris, CTE teacher Jeff Laschinski, CTE teacher Mike Maaske, CTE teacher Amy Murphy and CTE secretary Caryn Scimeca.
